Real estate professionals know that time is valuable. From connecting with clients to following up on leads and staying on top of current market trends, it can often feel as if there aren’t enough hours in the day. That’s why a fully stocked resource tool belt is so important.
For Ryan Bokros, director of development and training at RE/MAX Northwest, Realtors Property Resource® (RPR®) has proven to be an essential time-saver. Bokros, who began using the database five months ago, says that the appeal came not only from the vast amount of information provided, but for the help it offers when educating and training new agents.
“When I began using the program, what I noticed right away was the vast amount of data that RPR had within one portal, without any extra work, no running multiple reports or visiting other sources—no extra clicking,” says Bokros.
The information that RPR provides users is infinite: an all-inclusive report with details like demographics, tax assessments, public records, default, REO, foreclosure and pre-foreclosure data, as well as MLS/CIE-provided information, zoning, liens, school districts and flood plain maps.
And it wasn’t long before Bokros realized what a boon RPR could be for new agents. “From a training standpoint, we use RPR when bringing in newer agents to help them do their market research, and learn area trends efficiently.”
Traditionally, Bokros comments, it would take a long time for fledgling agents to understand different markets. But all of the condensed data provided by RPR allows them to see everything they need in one place, making the information more digestible, enabling them to really know their market inside and out.
It’s not just new agents who can benefit from RPR, Bokros notes. The program is also helpful when it comes to more experienced agents who are now looking to expand their markets. “With just a few clicks, they can really see what’s happening in different areas,” he says.
