RE/MAX of New England recently announced that David Banks, broker/owner of RE/MAX By The Bay, set a statewide annual sales record in Maine of $109,114,919 in 2013. David is the first individual user of the Maine Real Estate Information System (MREIS) to surpass $100 million in annual sales since record-keeping began in 1998. Banks completed 243 transaction sides and sold 145 of his listings. Banks founded RE/MAX By The Bay in 1995, and has offices in Portland, Maine and Portsmouth, N.H.

“Needless to say, this is an amazing accomplishment for David and his entire team,” says Dan Breault, Executive Vice President and Regional Director of RE/MAX of New England. “He has a sales record that most Agents dream of and this recent milestone further exemplifies his talent and capabilities as a leader of this industry.”

Banks has ranked number one in the state of Maine in sales volume every year for over a decade. An expert in negotiating, strategy and creative problem solving provides David the experience to give him an exceptional depth of knowledge in nearly all facets of the local residential real estate market.

“This is both a momentous and humbling milestone to have reached in my career,” says Banks. “I founded RE/MAX By The Bay with an intense focus on providing an unmatched client experience, which I believe lends to the success I’ve had over the years. RE/MAX also provides their associates with the most current technology and support to ensure our success.”
