Global Real Estate Conference Attracts 2,500 Attendees, Recognizes Industry Leaders

Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® Conference Week, held February 23-27 at Wynn Las Vegas, attracted nearly 2,500 attendees from 20 countries, a record attendance for the event, the company announced. Hosted by Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® (LeadingRE) for its affiliates, the event offered targeted conference content for brokers, relocation professionals, sales associates, luxury specialists, sales managers and marketing and technology professionals.

The robust conference week program featured 140 member panelists and over 40 guest speakers including luxury brand representatives and keynote performances at multiple general sessions from Guy Kawasaki, former Apple Chief Evangelist; top-rated business author Daniel Pink; internationally recognized graffiti artist, film maker and author Erik Wahl; and Navy SEAL Rorke Denver, who starred in the 2012 hit film “Act of Valor.”

Entertainment events were held at four different nightclubs including Tao, with entertainment from Las Vegas Headliner of the Year Frankie Moreno, Dancing with the Stars’ Lacey Schwimmer, top Vegas act Mosaic, and Dick Bright’s SRO orchestra.

And topping off the week was the presentation of the network’s annual Performance Awards. The most prestigious honor, the Diamond Award, was presented to Watson Realty Corp. (Jacksonville, FL) for the second consecutive year, recognizing outstanding performance in all of LeadingRE’s business programs.

Also presented were the Crown of Excellence referral awards, presented in seven company size categories to Allen Tate Company (Charlotte, NC); Michael Saunders & Company (Sarasota, FL); Kentwood Real Estate (Greenwood Village, CO); Charles Reinhart Company (Ann Arbor, MI); Wright Kingdom Real Estate (Boulder, CO); Hamner Real Estate Inc. (Tuscaloosa, AL); and Burt Jordan Realtors (Florence, SC).

Companies recognized for superior performance in Outgoing Referral Production included Allen Tate Company (Charlotte, NC); Watson Realty Corp. (Jacksonville, FL); Michael Saunders & Company (Sarasota, FL); Kentwood Real Estate (Greenwood Village, CO); Charles Reinhart Company (Ann Arbor, MI); Platinum Group REALTORS (Colorado Springs, CO); Hamner Real Estate Inc. Winning the Global Alliance Award for Most Outgoing International Referral Closings was Macdonald Realty Ltd. (Vancouver, Canada), and the Million Dollar Award for Highest Valued Outgoing Closings went to Houlihan Lawrence Real Estate (Rye Brook, NY).
