After the mouse gave him a wake-up call, Anderson moved his boxes to shelves in his garage and started tossing things out. It took him a month to trim the boxes down to just two that he wanted to keep. He started with over 20 very large boxes.
Every person has to find the best way to keep the clutter moving out. You might, for example, sort junk mail while watching TV every night. Or, you might prefer to play music in the garage while you sort through old boxes. Another idea is to have a friend come over to keep you company while you sort junk and toss clutter.
As you make a little progress, you’ll feel better about yourself. Clearing up your environment means you’re making room for new experiences and new relationships in your life. With clutter under control, you’ll feel some of your inner harmony returning.
