Brokers Expect Gains in Profit, Competition
In September 2013, the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (NAR) released its latest “Profile of Real Estate Firms.” The report examines the characteristics and business activity of firms, as well as the education and training they offer their employees and their outlook for the future. Highlights from this year’s report: Seven in ten firms expect profitability (net income) from all real estate activities to increase in the next two years, and two-thirds of firms do have the expectation that competition will increase in the next two years from marketplace and non-traditional marketplace participants.
In this video Jessica Lautz, NAR Research’s Director of Member and Consumer Survey Research, reviews the pertinent highlights of the Profile and what it means for your business.
