Homesnap, the popular real estate app that enables users to “snap any home to find out all about it,” has just released Homesnap Pro, an agent-only version of Homesnap that offers real-time multiple listing service (MLS) information on smartphones and tablets, arming real estate professionals with the power of their MLS while they’re in the field.
MRIS, the MLS for Washington, D.C., and the entire Mid-Atlantic region, has partnered with Homesnap to provide its 44,000+ real estate professionals with access to the new Homesnap Pro app. Following the D.C. launch, Homesnap has plans to roll out Homesnap Pro into other major markets across the country.
Three prominent real estate brokerages in the Washington, D.C., metro area—McEnearney Associates Inc., TTR Sotheby’s International Realty and CENTURY 21 Redwood Realty—have also signed on to offer enhanced, branded versions of Homesnap Pro to all of their agents.
Homesnap Pro provides an unprecedented amount of real-time information to agents on the go, giving them the flexibility to research homes, interact with each other, and collaborate with clients from their mobile devices. Now, agents and consumers can use the same platform to seamlessly share real estate information and communicate directly. Some of the features of Homesnap Pro include:
“Our customers need access to MLS information when they’re in the field,” says David Charron, president and CEO of MRIS. “Homesnap Pro was designed and developed to meet the needs of the busy real estate professional with industry-leading mobile technology that is both powerful and easy-to-use. Valuable information they could only access back at the office can now be found on-site in a matter of seconds on their mobile device. The utility of the app combined with the real-time MLS information gives MRIS customers a differentiating service and game-changing sales advantage. Very simply, ‘this is big!’”
“Agents were our original power users, and Homesnap Pro puts the agent-quality MLS information they need into an awesome mobile app. MRIS is known in the industry for technology innovation, which made them the perfect launch partner for us,” says Guy Wolcott, co-founder and CEO of Homesnap.
“Arming our agents with the power of mobile, immediate access to accurate, real-time MLS data is a game-changer for them and for our clients. We are very excited about Homesnap Pro’s features and the many benefits that it will bring,” says David Howell, executive vice president and CIO of McEnearney Associates Inc.
“Homesnap Pro delivers fast-moving market data to our fingertips, and we are confident that the platform will instantly enhance our associates’ productivity and give them a strong competitive edge in serving their clients,” says Mark Lowham, managing partner at TTR Sotheby’s International Realty.
“Homesnap Pro is a game-changer in that it packs everything an agent could ever possibly need to show houses, evaluate the market, and service their clients into one insanely beautiful, incredibly intuitive app. As soon as I saw it, I knew that I wanted it on every single one of my agents’ phones,” says Edward Berenbaum, president of CENTURY 21 Redwood Realty.
Homesnap Prois powered by the same functionality that millions of Americans already use every month to learn about homes from the convenience of their smartphone. Homesnap allows users to snap a photo of any home to access information about that home, whether or not it’s for sale.
