The real estate professionals of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty’s Ponte Vedra Beach office actively support local agencies that help the less fortunate and organizations that enrich the community and the lives of its residents.
“Our team of real estate professionals understands the importance of giving back to the community and assisting others, especially those in need,” said Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty Founder, President and CEO Linda H. Sherrer. “We are very proud of their commitment to community service and efforts to make a difference in the local community.”
Recently, the team filled a station wagon to the brim with food, baby diapers and cleaning products for BEAM, Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministry, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting beaches families.
“In addition to nonperishable food items, BEAM needs items for children,” said Realtor Claudia Page, who organized the collection. “We made sure to include baby diapers, baby wipes and other cleaning products as well as food items that appeal to children, such as snack foods, peanut butter and cereal.”
The office also supported the Bag Lady silent auction luncheon benefitting the Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach. The event, which offered the opportunity to bid on new or gently used designer handbags, raised about $14,000 that will be used for special projects at the center.
“Our team enjoys supporting organizations and events like this because they care deeply about our community,” said Christy Budnick, executive vice president of residential real estate. “Giving back to the community in which we live and work is an important component of our company philosophy. We believe in investing in our community through charitable efforts.”
