What are the current market conditions in your area, and how have your agents had to adapt to meet them?
While the Houston market is thriving, inventory is at an all-time low. It’s a competitive environment, making it imperative that agents are aggressive and pro-active while maintaining a healthy balance between work and personal demands.
How does your company work to keep today’s buyers educated?
We take advantage of regular sales meetings and frequent email communication to constantly feed market information to our agents, which they can then share with their clients. In addition, John Daugherty, REALTORS® maintains incredible relationships with mortgage, appraisal and title experts who are invaluable when it comes to furnishing up-to-the-minute information on market conditions and changes in the industry that can’t be overlooked. All together, these procedures help us provide clients with the most reputable communication to assist with their buying or selling needs.
What is your top tip for thriving in today’s market?
Stay on top of the market and stay connected with your clients as much as possible. Whether it’s a buyer or seller, there has to be a level of trust so that they feel as if they are the most important thing you’re focused on. It’s also important to take the time to exercise and nourish your body and mind to combat stress and stay on top of your game.
How do you successfully stay ahead of the competition?
Our company maintains very high standards, and we hire our agents through a series of interviews to not only ensure a great fit, but also the ability to succeed in our market. In addition, our marketing director, Alason Connell, has integrated an aggressive online marketing component into the company that includes a comprehensive retargeting strategy. It’s been extremely successful to date, providing a strong enhancement to our traditional marketing methods that have consistently proven to be very effective.
