Engel & Völkers New York City (E&V NYC) recently announced that local real estate professional Alyson Donnelly has joined the firm to serve as E&V NYC’s Director of Business Development and Training. Since entering the NYC market in mid-2014, the firm has moved into a new custom-designed office space and steadily grown its support and agent teams. Donnelly was hired to continue E&V NYC’s strategic advancement, responsible for developing the sales team through attracting and empowering talent.
“As we continue to expand, we’ve been extremely intentional and selective in choosing our group of sales advisors, as well as management team members,” stated Stuart Siegel, president and CEO of E&V NYC. “Alyson is an ideal fit for Engel & Völkers, offering insight and expertise as an experienced New York City real estate professional. Her dedication to providing our agents with meaningful training opportunities and seeing the brand continue to build its identity in the luxury real estate sector is a key element in our continued growth strategy.”
In her new role, not only will Donnelly be responsible for identifying talent for the firm, she will provide onboarding assistance to newly associated advisors and offer a level of training and support that is appropriate for their business and professional objectives.
”I’ve never experienced a real estate brokerage quite like this,” says Donnelly. “Engel & Völkers’ global presence and impressive portfolio of services make it a truly international brand at the forefront of luxury. Our advisors collectively embrace our brand values and tools, and our culture is very collaborative and energetic as a result. I’m proud to be able to help drive Engel & Völkers NYC’s continued growth while supporting the firm’s advisors in maximizing their personal success.”
Prior to joining E&V NYC, Donnelly served as a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson for Brown Harris Stevens and Citi Habitats over the span of eight years. Specializing in both high-end sales and rental listings, she was consistently recognized for her exemplary full-service support throughout all transactions. Before entering the real estate industry, Donnelly worked in the TV business, and produced promotional content for several outlets including Fox News Channel and Showtime Networks, where she also managed a team of assistants and supported daily production tasks.
Additionally, Donnelly sits on the Champions Committee of the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation where she fundraises, trains with Team Reeve and volunteers. Donnelly is a graduate of Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications where she earned a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Television/Radio/Film and Spanish.
