REALTORS® working in rural settings face a variety of unique safety hazards. NAR and the REALTORS® Land Institute outline some of the potential dangers REALTORS® face working in rural areas and what they can do to stay safe on the job. For instance, when on a farm or in a rural area, wear boots and keep them available in your vehicle to wear for protection from snakes, bugs, nails and other debris on the ground.
