Recently, Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC Chief Marketing Officer Sean Blankenship presented on the main stage of the inaugural Internet of Things (IoT) Influencers Summit at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Blankenship presented “The Connected Home: What Do Consumers Want?” to explore the trends the real estate community is seeing with the intersection of technology in the home. Coldwell Banker Real Estate discussed the innovative home technology that is most popular with home buyers and sellers and how this technology is impacting home sales. He also shared insight on proprietary research about consumer demands and expectations. The session took place on Tuesday, July 21.
“Nearly 5 million existing homes were sold in the United States last year,” says Blankenship. “That’s a huge opportunity for home technology developers. More and more home buyers are requesting smart home technology, and the demand is only going to get more prevalent.”
