Engel & Völkers recently announced the opening of its first Brookhaven shop, bringing the firm’s distinguished global services to real estate buyers and sellers of the area. The Brookhaven shop will further solidify the firm’s presence in the ever-growing Atlanta marketplace.
Scott Askew, owner of the new shop, also owns Engel & Völkers Intown Atlanta, which has seen significant success since his 41-year-old firm partnered with the Engel & Völkers brand in April 2014. Laurie Nickless, a Brookhaven resident and real estate veteran who has worked with Scott for over 17 years, will run the new office.
“Brookhaven presents itself as the ideal location to further extend Engel & Völkers’ presence in the greater Atlanta area, with close proximity to downtown Atlanta and Georgia’s second largest airport,” says Anthony Hitt, CEO of Engel & Völkers North America. “As we continue to see dynamic growth in the Atlanta market, as showcased by the recent opening of our Buckhead Atlanta shop, Laurie and Scott will provide the leadership and area expertise necessary to best serve the comprehensive needs of buyers and sellers drawn to Brookhaven.”
“Laurie is the perfect candidate to lead our Brookhaven shop. Her knowledge of the area and our industry, and her experience with building in Brookhaven, coupled with her positive ‘can-do’ attitude will provide the community with a wonderful alternative to what is typically found in real estate brokerages today,” says Askew.
Engel & Völkers Brookhaven Atlanta, with their main office situated just east of Peachtree Road at 1430 Dresden Drive, will provide leading services for buyers and sellers of premier properties in Brookhaven and its surrounding communities. Brookhaven is a key residential destination for both local and international buyers with an urban town center that offers residents new boutiques, restaurants and cultural activities. The city also has an abundance of greenspace including 11 parks and two lakes.
“As our zip code, 30319, has become the fastest growing zip code in the United States, Engel & Völkers Brookhaven Atlanta is poised to best serve the needs of the area’s buyers,” said Nickless. “Our intimate knowledge of Atlanta coupled with Engel & Völkers’ cutting-edge tools and resources, and comprehensive global network enables us to provide clients with a truly unparalleled level of service.”
With the opening of shops in Austin, Houston, Beverly Hills, St. George, Long Beach and Concord and, in Canada, Victoria, Calgary, Toronto and York, Engel & Völkers continues to strengthen its presence in the premium real estate market across North America. Additionally, Engel & Völkers continues to expand throughout the United States with planned openings in several new markets.
