Engel & Völkers has announced its first Vail, Colorado shop. The opening comes with the union between the storied international brokerage and Sonnenalp Real Estate, a luxury real estate firm serving Vail and the surrounding areas, bringing comprehensive global services to real estate buyers and sellers of the area.
“We choose our new shop locations carefully and as we researched Vail, Colorado’s real estate market and lifestyle, we knew this was an excellent area for Engel & Völkers to move into with a new shop,” said Anthony Hitt, CEO of Engel & Völkers North America. “Engel & Völkers Vail will best serve buyers and sellers of real estate in this dynamic area with our unmatched service and impeccable standard of exclusivity.”
Josh Lautenberg and Tyra Rudrud are the owners of the new shop, which will introduce an experienced team of 15 agents from Sonnenalp Real Estate to the new Engel & Völkers Vail, solidifying the firm’s presence in Colorado’s real estate marketplace. The team represents over 100 years of experience and have transacted $1.5 billion in real estate closings over the past 15 years.
“Vail and our surrounding areas truly offer something for everyone to enjoy – from the scenic countryside with beautiful trails to the best mountains for skiing in the country – buyers have been drawn to the area for its year-round lifestyle,” said Josh Lautenberg, co-owner of Engel & Völkers Vail. “As the area continues to experience attention from global and local buyers, Engel & Völkers will meet their comprehensive real estate needs with our outstanding global network, tools and services.”
Engel & Völkers Vail, located at 242 E. Meadow Drive in the heart of Vail Village, will provide leading services to buyers and sellers throughout all of Eagle County, including the communities of Vail, Avon, Beaver Creek, Edwards and Eagle. Vail has begun to draw in an increasing number of international and local buyers interested in the area’s natural and beautiful landscape, winter and summer activities from skiing to hiking and water sports, cultural events including dance festivals, concerts and the Audi Birds of Prey World Cup.
“Homes in Vail are some of the most sought after addresses in the area because buyers like the fact that Vail offers a wider variety of activities than a traditional ski town,” added Tyra Rudrud, co-owner of Engel & Völkers Vail. “Engel & Völkers’ renowned level of exclusivity offers a key counterpart to our emphasis on quality, personalized service, and our wish to provide buyers with an incomparable real estate experience.”
With recent openings in Atlanta, Dallas, Beverly Hills, and in Canada, Vancouver, Calgary, and Toronto, Engel & Völkers continues to strengthen its presence in the premium real estate market across North America. Additionally, Engel & Völkers continues to expand throughout the United States with planned openings in several new markets.
