NRT LLC recently announced that Merit McIntyre has been promoted to the role of president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England. In this position, McIntyre will oversee the daily operations of the company’s 80 real estate offices and more than 4,000 affiliated sales associates and employees throughout Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.McIntyre most recently served as the company’s regional vice president of the Boston Metro region and as the Northeast director of commercial real estate for Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT. McIntyre replaces Pat Villani, who stepped down late last year.

Earlier in his career with the company, McIntyre was the regional vice president of the branch offices in Maine and New Hampshire. A licensed real estate broker in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, McIntyre became affiliated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in 1999 as a sales associate. Within a short time, he was chosen to serve as a sales office manager. He achieved vast experience in commercial real estate by serving as a managing partner of a commercial brokerage firm and as principal of a private investment firm that purchases and redevelops commercial real estate. He is a graduate of Harvard University.
