Engel & Völkers recently announced that the firm’s North America CEO, Anthony Hitt, has been included in the Swanepoel POWER 200, a ranking of the top 200 most powerful people in residential real estate by the Swanepoel T3 Group, one of the nation’s leading research firms.
The annual list identifies 200 leaders from the United States and Canada that have the most power and influence to impact the residential real estate brokerage industry. This year over 1,000 industry leaders were considered for the list.
“Anthony has been the driving force behind Engel & Völkers’ strong expansion across North America, which has resulted in new shops in dynamic markets in both the United States and Canada,” says Christian Völkers, CEO of Engel & Völkers Group, the parent company based in Hamburg. “We are honored to have Engel & Völkers recognized as a leading real estate firm in North America, and anticipate the firm’s continued success and growth under Anthony’s leadership.”
Since joining Engel & Völkers, Hitt has increased the brand’s footprint in the North American market by 300 percent and has more than quadrupled its agent count. Engel & Völkers Group recently reported record results for 2015 worldwide citing a 133 percent increase in revenues in North America. The network of North American shops continues to grow at a rapid rate.
The Swanepoel Power 200 (SP200) annually ranks the top “Power Players” in the residential real estate industry and publishes nine lists covering Corporate Executives, Power Brokers, Technology Executives, Women Leaders, Association/MLS Executives, Outsider Powers, Trendsetters, Social Influencers, and the overall POWER 200. The effort behind the SP200 exceeds 400 hours of focused research, face-to-face meetings with most people on the list, an analysis of all companies, and a 20-hour T3 Team deliberation.
