Engel & Völkers has entered Hawaii, opening its first two shops in Honolulu, the company recently announced. Engel & Völkers Honolulu, a result of a partnership with Primary Properties, is led by License Partner Kay Mukaigawa, and serves homebuyers and sellers on Oahu. The first shop, Engel & Völkers Honolulu Downtown, is led by Managing Broker Christina Nishiyama, while the second shop, Engel & Völkers Honolulu Stadium, is led by Managing Broker Carol Iseri.
“Hawaii is truly a melting pot, which means that we have something for everyone and we cater to a diverse group of clients,” says Mukaigawa. “Low inventory on the islands keeps demand high. As our business grew, we knew it was time to invest in the premium tools and services that would allow us to best serve our clients; however, I’d always been a bit wary about partnering with a large outside entity. From the moment our team stepped in the room, Engel & Völkers alleviated any and all concerns. The brand’s hands-on approach, extensive global network and emphasis on premium client experiences made it clear that this partnership would elevate our service on both a local and international level. Knowing that we would be able to continue to grow the business while elevating the level of service our clients have come to expect made this the perfect partnership.”
“The Hawaiian lifestyle, varied island landscapes, year-round good weather and world-class recreation have made Hawaii a highly covetable place to own property, as evidenced by the continued growth in sales and median sales price of both single-family homes and condominiums,” says Anthony Hitt, president and CEO, Engel & Völkers Americas. “We are thrilled to partner with Kay and her accomplished team, with their unparalleled experience, knowledge and commitment to the local market. They are ideal partners in opening up Hawaii’s beautiful and unique real estate market to the Engel & Völkers network around the world.”
Engel & Völkers Honolulu is licensed to do business on all of Hawaii.
