RISMEDIA, July 23, 2010—There has never been a better time than now for you and your agents to take advantage of NAR products and resources being offered for free and at-cost through the “RIGHT TOOLS, RIGHT NOW” initiative.

The highly popular NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® initiative will help members find continued success through the end of 2010 only. In 2009, over half a million members accessed tens of millions of dollars worth of NAR products and resources and the initiative has been extended through 2010.

As a broker, you manage your business and your agents in a constantly changing real estate market. With over 400 new and existing publications, education resources, and services available through the initiative, you have access to free and affordable solutions in 2010 to support yourself, your agents and grow your business.

Here are some easy tips that can help you and your agents make the most of Right Tools, Right Now from NAR.

Tip #1: Take your business and marketing plans to the next level using social media.
You’ve heard about the benefits of social media and may already be using it, but you may be unsure how to best optimize it within your business plan. The Right Tools, Right Now initiative offers at-cost publications to help you and your agents navigate the road to social media success, including the new “Social Media for REALTORS®: 101 Dos and Don’ts” and “The Social Networking Plan for Real Estate.”

Tip #2: Connect with consumers and generate more leads.
You and your agents can download free e-products and articles and repurpose the information to inform consumers on market facts, staging, purchase incentives, and industry trends, as well as promote the benefits of working with a REALTOR®. Some of our most popular e-products include the brochures, “Why Rent When You Can Buy” and “It Pays to Work with a REALTOR®,” as well as NAR’s research profiles.

Tip#3: Broaden your industry knowledge and skill-set to grow your client base.
Right Tools, Right Now offers discounted online education courses through NAR’s Realtor University. Take a little time to expand your real estate knowledge on courses, which include NAR’s Green Designation Core Course, CIPS Courses, Discovering Commercial Real Estate Course, and more.

NAR’s initiative also gives free, member-only access to webinars. Recent topics include short sales, on-the-job safety for Realtors, energy efficiency and staging. All of these webinars are archived in case you can’t attend or would like to replay them.

Right Tools, Right Now continues to provide NAR members with the products and resources they need to stay competitive. So, take advantage of the free and at-cost tools offered by this initiative in 2010 to find continued success.

If you haven’t already taken advantage of RIGHT TOOLS, RIGHT NOW, or made your agents aware, it’s not too late—and it’s easy to do! All you have to do is e-mail your agents the URL to the Right Tools, Right Now initiative (www.realtor.org/Broker). With offers being added each month, encourage your agents to access scores of new and expanded tools from NAR throughout 2010. It’s that simple.
