RISMEDIA, May 31, 2011–Bert Waugh, Jr., president of Prudential Northwest Properties, and chief operating officer Jason Waugh, are pleased to announce Scott Stevenson has joined the company as manager and principal broker of the Gresham branch office. Stevenson will be responsible for leading the Gresham team of real estate brokers, expanding the firm’s presence in East Portland and contributing to the growth of the company.

With a background in real estate management, brokerage ownership, and over 1,500 closed sales during the course of his career, he brings valuable insight and experience to Prudential Northwest Properties. “Scott is a great addition to our leadership team and I’m proud to have him on board,” said Jason Waugh. “He is exactly the type of professional we are seeking as we continue to grow the company and increase our presence in the East Portland area.”

Stevenson, CRS, GRI and ABR, is President of the East Metro Association of REALTORS, and a graduate of Leadership Institute Northwest, the leadership development program of the Oregon & Washington Association of REALTORS. “Scott shares our commitment to providing exceptional value to our agents and clients,” said Bert Waugh, Jr. “He’s a highly respected member of the Portland real estate community and we couldn’t be happier he’s joined our company.”

Stevenson adds, “The integrity of the leadership team at Prudential Northwest Properties and their focus on providing the greatest experience possible is what drew me to Prudential. In the past 23 years, I have had the privilege to work for some great brokerages. Most did the right things, a few did them the right way, but I felt it was finally time to work for the one that did them for the right reasons. To some extent, everyone has technology, everyone has training, and everyone has transaction management. Prudential Northwest Properties has true character, and is a leader in a marketplace of followers. I am proud to be associated with them and to be in a position to help make a positive difference in the lives of clients.”
