One of the newest transit-oriented developments in the metro Denver area sold to a Boston-based buyer for $60.85 million.
A new strikingly attractive community within walking distance of the new Southmoor Station light rail stop is called The District at Southmoor Station. It’s a wonderful community designed for professionals who are going places, the ideal location for young executives who can appreciate the convenience of being in an urban environment and the sense of an exclusive community.
GID Investment Advisers LLC paid $220,471 per unit, or $245 per square foot, for The District at Southmoor Station, a 276-unit apartment community at Interstate 25 and Hampden Avenue in Denver, and adjacent to the Southmoor light-rail station.
Completed in 2007, The District at Southmoor Station also includes 16,617 sf of fully leased retail space, which fronts Hampden and is leased to tenants such as Wahoo’s Fish Taco, Noodles & Co., Omaha Steaks and Verizon Wireless.
