Re-Inventing Real Estate. That is exactly what EXIT Realty has done with the ability for agents to earn residuals for inviting other agents to join the company. This is exactly what happened on July 14, 2008.

Laura McClendon, agent with EXIT Premiere Realty in Nolensville, represented a buyer who closed on a new home on July 3, 2008. When she did this she received a commission for all her hard work, knowledge, and professionalism.

But something else happened. Something that only happens at EXIT Realty. An amount equivalent to 10% of the gross dollar generated by that closing was paid to the person who invited Laura to join EXIT Realty, Gary Bourque. This did not come from Laura’s commission. It came from EXIT Realty Corp. International. So Gary, who also happens to be the broker of EXIT Premiere Realty, received $603.90 directly deposited onto his EXIT Success Debit MasterCard. Now that will by a lot of gas, or food, or whatever
Gary wants to use it for. This happens for every transaction Laura has and for any other agent
Gary introduces into EXIT Realty.

Laura McClendon will receive a paid registration to the EXIT Realty Corp. International convention which will be held at the Gaylord in Nashville, TN in October as recognition for generating the $2,000,000th residual dollar in the EXIT MidSouth Region.

The 2 millionth residual dollar was generated in just over 3 years from the first closing in the region back in February 2005. Jean Marie Grumbles, CEO of EXIT MidSouth, states, “While it took a little over 3 years to generate $2,000,000 dollars in residual bonuses we will likely double that to $4,000,000 in half the time and continue to do that time and time again. This residual money is paid to our associates above and beyond our generous commissions. Our agents truly have a future with an additional stream of income and the opportunity to have a retirement.”

EXIT MidSouth has sold over 46 franchises in Tennessee and
Kentucky, with those offices providing superior real estate services to buyers and sellers of all price ranges. EXIT MidSouth’s real estate transactions are up 20% despite the changing real estate market. Grumbles states that this is due to great training and superior tools and resources the EXIT agents have to sell clients homes and provide buyers with exceptional service. Grumbles also said, “We are very proud of both Laura and Gary for being a part of our wonderful organization and for providing great service and knowledge to their home buying and selling clients.”

Last week was the Mid-Year NAR (National Association of REALTORS) meeting, and attendees were presented with a quandry. Before going outdoors or off to work, do you check the National Media for the weather forecast? NO, you research your local media outlets for their prediction and even two local forfecasts will vary a little bit on the chance of precipitation or the high temperature for the day. Well just as weather is local, REALTORS were reminded that Real Estate markets are local and they should be doing their own research and informing their clients of the local market results. So the next time you pick up that National paper or review a nationwide web article on the state of real estate, ask yourself “If it is raining outside my window, does that mean it in raining 100 miles away too?”

If you need assistance with understanding your local real estate market conact a local real estate agent and ask them to provide you with a market survey. If you do not have a relationship with a real estate professional in your area, then visit ExitMidSouth.com and search for an agent in your area. ALso check back to this site frequently as the local market is ressearched and revealed here.
