Prudential Real Estate Affiliates President personally honors Atlanta?s success
RISMEDIA, December 19, 2006?Prudential Georgia Realty was recently honored with a visit from Prudential Real Estate Affiliates President Earl Lee. Based in California, he came to Atlanta to congratulate the company on the record year it is having, as well as to help celebrate its numerous recent successes. These include earning the Consumers? Choice Award for the third straight year in Atlanta, being named to Georgia Trend?s Best Places to Work list in its November issue, starting a new program called the Young Professionals of Prudential (YPOP), the continued success of its TeamBuilder agent recruiting program and the upcoming expansion of its DreamBuilder program to include insurance benefits for agents in 2007.
?We were honored to have Earl Lee personally come to Atlanta to share in our celebration,? stated Prudential Georgia Realty President and CEO Dan Forsman. ?We held an event for him at the Crown Plaza Ravinia and our sales associates enjoyed getting to meet him and hear him forecast a more positive outlook for the real estate market.?
Statistics pointed out by Lee included the fact that 20 of 50 states have had an increase in closings in 2006 (which would refute the much publicized real estate bubble theory), the National Association of Realtors is predicting 6.45 million home sales for the year which would make it the third best year ever, and current mortgage interest rates are comparable to those of May 2004.
The event concluded with a town hall Q & A format in which Prudential agents could ask questions of both Earl Lee and Dan Forsman.
Prudential Georgia Realty has been serving the residential and commercial real estate needs of metro Atlantans since 1963. In 2005, the firm posted another record year, with $2.8 billion in sales and more than 10,000 closed transactions. The company is on pace to break the $3 billion sales mark this year. An independently owned and operated member of Prudential Real Estate Affiliates (PREA), it is the 11th largest PREA affiliate in North America.
With the opening of a new branch office in Johns Creek in early 2007, Prudential Georgia Realty will have 23 offices and more than 1,400 real estate professionals serving the metro Atlanta and North Georgia regions.
