RISMEDIA, Sept. 19, 2007-Based upon responses from 986 transferees over an 18-month period, GMAC Global Relocation Services ranks highest in satisfying relocated employees with corporate relocation services, according to the J.D. Power and Associates’ 2007 Corporate Relocation Transferee Satisfaction Study(SM).With offices throughout the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific, GMAC Global Relocation Services is a leading full-service outsourcing partner of end-to- end employee relocation, assignment management and mobility consulting services for multinational organizations, worldwide.
According to the company, the inaugural study is the only source of independent and unbiased customer satisfaction information on relocation service providers and is based on evaluations from company employees who used a relocation company while moving for employment reasons to a destination within the United States. The study is designed to provide comprehensive information to assist relocation companies in their efforts to improve transferee satisfaction, and to assist corporations in making informed decisions about selecting relocation companies.
The study points out that GMAC Global Relocation Services ranks highest among corporate relocation companies, achieving the highest score in the four most important areas associated with transferee satisfaction:
- assistance in selecting a new neighborhood
- moving coordinator
- non-moving related services
- selling of prior residence
“We are absolutely thrilled to be ranked highest in transferee satisfaction in an independent study performed by such a well-respected firm as J.D. Power and Associates,” said Rick Schwartz, president and CEO of GMAC Global Relocation Services. “Providing superior customer service is ingrained throughout the entire culture of our organization and we’re proud this ranking is based upon direct feedback from those who mean the most to us, our clients.”
GMAC Global Relocation Services’ keen focus on delivering quality service resonates throughout the entire organization. In 2003, GMAC Global Relocation Services implemented a companywide quality program, Premier Service(R), which asks transferring employees to complete a survey evaluating the service they received following their move. Additionally, the company asks all of its domestic and global clients from 110 countries to complete a comprehensive client satisfaction survey.
In both 2005 and again in 2006, the company received a 100% overall satisfaction rating from its clients worldwide. In those surveys, 100% of clients also said they would recommend the company to their peers.
