RISMEDIA, Jan. 8, 2008-Chase has announced the hiring of new area and sales managers for the expansion of its Coral Gables mortgage office. The office, which opened five years ago at 225 Alhambra Circle, is expanding to meet the growing needs of the area.
“We want to provide additional mortgage expertise for home buyers and real estate professionals in the Coral Gables area,” said Bernie Navarro, Chase’s new area manager. “We’ve recruited talented people to help consumers select the right mortgage for their homes.”
During the third quarter of 2007, Chase increased its mortgage originations 35% from a year earlier, as other mortgage lenders have pulled back or gone out of business.
Navarro brings to Chase 11 years of experience in the mortgage industry. A resident of Coral Gables, Navarro earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Miami and a graduate degree from Harvard University.
