RISMEDIA, July 3, 2008-Realty Market Update of Redding, CT announced that it is now supplying highly-detailed charts and statistics on local real estate markets to William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage & Insurance, one of the largest family-owned real estate firms in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island and New England.
According to the company, the information is accessible through Raveis’ website, www.Raveis.com, using the “Local Housing Data” link. There are 14 charts on the site including:
- Unit Sales by Month
- Unit Sales by Price Range
- Median Sales Price
- Sales to List Price Ratio
- Inventory
- Market Time
There is also a detailed report of properties sold within the past three months.
CEO, William Raveis says “I am very excited about ‘Local Housing Data’. It provides the public and our agents with the facts about local markets in an easy-to-understand format. With this information, they are not mislead by national statistics that don’t apply to the local area.”
The company says that users of the site may choose any city or town in Connecticut and Massachusetts except for Cape Cod and the Massachusetts islands as support for these areas will be added in the near future. In the Boston area, users may choose any of 28 sub-markets within the city. Users also search by property type, selecting either single family, condominium, or multi-unit properties. Data for the charts and reports is supplied by multiple listing services.
Raveis agents, says the company, have access to a more advanced site, which has a total of 40 charts and some additional features. Among the charts are:
- Price per Square Foot (Average and Median)
- Sales by Price Range
- Inventory by Price Range
- Sales Price Profile
- Pending and Sold Listings
Additional features of the agent site include the ability to customize the look and color scheme of the charts and create custom reports that can be printed or e-mailed. Also, the agents may search by price range, giving them the ability to get information on market conditions that is directly relevant to their clients.
