RISMEDIA, August 28, 2008-Whether you’re a broker or an agent, the best way to overcome or cope with a challenging market is to seize the opportunity. For Michele Herndon, today’s featured Realtor on the Rise, she’s standing up to the market, realizing all of the opportunities it has given her, that she may not otherwise have been able to have. Here, meet Herndon, and understand her outlook on today’s market.

In real estate: Originally licensed in 1998; relicensed in 2006.

On her way: Herndon is in the process of obtaining her broker’s license.

Highly educated: Herndon’s credentials include a master’s degree in educational leadership, certification in three educational subjects, a mortgage broker’s license and a real estate sales license.

Herndon has a different outlook on the current market. “This market has provided me an opportunity to get involved in chamber activities that make a difference in our community,” she says. “I also carve out time to volunteer for fundraising activities at my son’s school.”
