RISMEDIA, Feb. 15, 2007-The ERA network will once again gather for the annual ERA International Business Conference March 8 to 11 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Attendees will meet with real estate professionals from around the world, attend cutting-edge training courses and learn about the latest product and service offerings from ERA Real Estate. During the conference, ERA Real Estate will also celebrate a 30-year milestone with the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).
ERA Real Estate will welcome Rudy Giuliani, 107th mayor of New York City, who will deliver the keynote address at the conference's general session. With his brilliant ideas, management skills and goal-driven style, Giuliani helped New York City become a shining example of the resurgence of urban America. With the tragic events of September 11, 2001, the rest of the world found out what New Yorkers already knew – that Giuliani was a determined leader who could demonstrate remarkable strength and stability at a time of great uncertainty.
"We are all thrilled that Rudy Giuliani is coming to address the ERA network," said Brenda W. Casserly, president and chief executive officer, ERA Franchise Systems, Inc. "Over the years, Rudy Giuliani has proven to be a true visionary and ERA Real Estate is honored to welcome such a dynamic leader to this year's conference . "
In addition to Rudy Giuliani, popular motivational communicator Amanda Gore will be a guest speaker at the general session. Gore will provide attendees a better understanding of leadership, life and communication. Gore delivers her programs with boundless energy and a message that invigorates as it enlightens.
Additionally, ERA Real Estate will celebrate a 30-year milestone with the MDA at this year's conference. ERA Real Estate began its partnership with MDA in the battle against neuromuscular diseases in 1977, raising awareness and contributing over $30 million to fund research and services over the years. To commemorate ERA Real Estate's 30th anniversary as an MDA sponsor, ERA Real Estate is doubling its efforts with the goal of raising $2 million this year to make the 2007 fund drive the best one to date. To share in the celebration, Ed McMahon, MDA National Vice President; and Billy Gilman, MDA National Youth Chairman and award-winning singer, will be in attendance at the conference to thank ERA Real Estate members for their continued support.
Throughout the three-day ERA event, attendees will have the ability to network with the industry's most successful professionals exchanging best practices and strategies. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in comprehensive educational sessions hosted by industry experts, covering timely topics such as "How to Get the Listing and Get it Sold: Using Today's Technology and Tools," "Selling to Multicultural Customers" and "The Winning Way to Sell Homes."
ERA brokers and agents will be recognized with a number of production and service awards by the organization's leadership. Among those attending and participating in the ceremonies include Brenda W. Casserly, president and CEO, ERA Franchise Systems, Inc.; Richard A. Smith, vice chairman and president of Realogy Corporation; and Alex Perriello, president and CEO of the Realogy Franchise Group.
