RISMEDIA, March 15, 2007-Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty recently set up house on the East End of Long Island opening offices in Southold and Cutchogue. Daniel Gale Sotheby's acquired Deirdre O'Connell Real Estate, with existing offices in Cutchogue and Manhasset, and opened a new office on Main Road in Southold.
"We've been working to extend our market to the North Fork for some time now," explained Daniel Gale Sotheby's President and CEO Patricia Petersen.
"Many of our customers, particularly in Nassau County, have sought our expertise when they look to buy or sell primary and second homes further east. By combining our resources with Deirdre O'Connell, we can provide both exceptional marketing programs and unsurpassed local knowledge."
North Fork native Deirdre O'Connell established the firm that bears her name in 2002, and opened her Cutchogue office in 2005.
"I discovered very quickly that there was a remarkable synergy between my Manhasset market place and the North Fork," said Ms. O'Connell. "I'm thrilled to be part of the Daniel Gale management team and I'm confident that its excellent, professional reputation combined with Sotheby's affiliation will bring everything I've worked so hard for to the highest possible level." Deirdre O'Connell's team of sales professionals has joined Daniel Gale Sotheby's 600 agents.
Deirdre O'Connell will work as vice president directly with Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty Senior Vice President Carol Tintle. Tintle was instrumental in the management and integration of Manhasset's former McCrate Agency into the Daniel Gale Sotheby's family of offices in the 1990s. Today Manhasset is one of Daniel Gale Sotheby's top producing offices and Daniel Gale Sotheby's is among the dominant brokers in that locale.
"Together Deirdre and I will take up the challenge to further build our North Fork market," remarked Tintle.
As part of Deirdre O'Connell's alliance with Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty's, both buying and selling clients will benefit from the increased exposure to a national and global audience through extensive worldwide marketing and the Daniel Gale and Sotheby's International Realty Web sites. Homes will also be featured in Daniel Gale Sotheby's Premier Properties and showcased at Sotheby's auction house and global offices.
