RISMEDIA, April 3, 2007-Fidelity National Financial, Inc. announced that Great Plains Realtors Multiple Listings Service, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Omaha Area Board of Realtord (OABRMLS), has chosen Fidelity National Real Estate Solutions' Paragon v3.8 system, a Web-based multiple listing service (MLS) platform for real estate properties, as their MLS software system of choice.
Great Plains Realtors MLS will utilize the Paragon 3.8 platform to provide detailed and up-to-the-minute residential listings for Omaha, Nebraska and the surrounding areas. In addition to providing the Great Plains Realtors MLS with a state-of-the-art technology solution to manage property listings, the Paragon system enables the organization to further support its member brokers and agents by offering advanced tools to assist with day-to-day business needs. Using these tools, agents and brokers are able to easily acquire comparative market analysis (CMA) reports, develop personalized marketing materials and build real-time MLS listings directly into their broker and agent Web sites.
Additionally, Paragon v3.8 will allow Great Plains Realtors MLS' member agents and brokers to personalize the system to meet their individual needs.
While Great Plains Realtors MLS controls the foundation of this system with pre-defined system rules, regulations and defaults, member brokers will have the ability to personalize the program by incorporating private branding on output as permitted by Great Plains Realtors MLS guidelines. Paragon v3.8 also allows member brokers and agents to customize many of the systems features and preferences for the individual user.
"We're anxious to be back with Fidelity and continue the fruitful relationship that stretches back through earlier companies into the mid-1970s," said John Bredemeyer, chairman of the Board of the Great Plains Realtors Multiple Listings Service. "After outgrowing an earlier system, we went elsewhere on an interim basis. We are excited about the upcoming Paragon launch that will provide a program strong enough to handle our needs for years to come," Bredemeyer concluded.
"We are dedicated to providing the real estate industry with the most advanced MLS technology solutions available today to manage their most valuable asset, their data," said Beverly Faull, SVP and general manager of Fidelity National MLS Systems and Solutions. "In addition, Fidelity's integrated productivity, marketing and advertising tools streamline the transaction, saving the broker, agent and consumer valuable time in closing the transaction. The Great Plains Realtors MLS decision to implement Paragon v3.8 is a testament to our ability to develop technology solutions that best meet the needs of today's real estate professionals," Faull concluded.
