RISMEDIA, April 19, 2007-NRT Incorporated announced the promotion of Tom Iovenitti to president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Orange County, California. The move strengthens NRT's focus on Orange County operations, where Iovenitti will oversee the daily operations of the company's 14 sales offices, 1,000 sales associates, its Previews marketing division for luxury real estate and the company's commercial operations.
For the past 18 months, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage's Los Angeles and Orange County operations were combined and led by veteran Betty Graham. With this announcement, the Orange County company will be distinct from the Los Angeles operations, which will continue to be led by Graham.
Iovenitti most recently served as Orange County's vice president and regional manager. With more than 25 years in the real estate industry, Iovenitti earned his broker's license in 1991, and joined Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in 1999, when his real estate company was acquired by NRT Incorporated.
"Tom's leadership history, his affinity for real estate related financial issues and his in-depth knowledge of the Orange County market are all attributes that will help lead Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage into the future," said Jeff Culbertson, regional senior vice president for NRT's Southwest and Sacramento region. "The organizational move also affords the company president the opportunity to more intimately interact with the sales force as well as the community, whose needs are distinct from Los Angeles," added Culbertson.
A previous MLS chairman and member of the Orange County Association of Realtors board of the directors, Iovenitti's industry honors include being named the OCAR Realtor of the Year. A yacht and ship broker, Iovenitti still maintains his captain's credentials. He lives in Newport Beach with his wife and four children.
Supporting Iovenitti is Rick Jenkins, regional vice president and branch manager for the Newport Beach Fashion Island and Lido Isle offices, and Sandra Deering, broker of record and newly appointed regional vice president. Jenkins' nearly 30 years in the industry includes managing three branches, sales training as well as field sales. Deering, with more than 30 years of real estate experience, most recently served as the chief administrative officer for the region's sales force.
