RISMEDIA, April 25, 2007-The Luxury Real Estate Spring Retreat in Key Biscayne, Florida, gathered real estate and relocation experts to discuss the importance of referrals within the industry, while announcing the launch of their new program called Luxury Referral Services. Held from April 22-24, three of the expert panelists included Joan Erni, a relocation expert with Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty, Yalile Alpizar, the president and owner of Costa Rica Luxury Estates, and John D'Ambrogio, an executive with more than 17 years of experience in the real estate industry.
Joan Erni and John D'Ambrogio took part in a panel discussion of the new Luxury Referral Services program. As home buyers and sellers demand quicker responses to their inquiries, Luxury Referral Services will provide an essential tool to brokers who want to provide the best service to their customers' changing demands. Luxury Real Estate experts will handle referrals sent from one broker to another to ensure that both benefit from these deals and improve their customer service. According to the company, Luxury Referral Services will also improve the quality of Internet leads from LuxuryRealEstate.com and ensure that customers are assisted within 24 hours of requesting information.
"I appreciate this opportunity to share my expertise and insight into this new service," said Erni, who is a licensed sales associate, and has earned her Certified Relocation Professional and Global Mobility Specialist designations. She has been involved in the Relocation field for the past 17 years, understanding all phases of the real estate industry. In her current position she is also responsible for overseeing the marketing efforts of her company's Relocation Center.
An active member of the Relocation Directors Council, she serves or has served on numerous committees including being a current member of the RDC New Membership Committee and co-planning chair of the RDC Mentor Program for this year. Her love for the industry, and enthusiastic support of the referral endeavor, makes her a willing mentor to those new to the field.
"I hope to provide a great service to my fellow real estate professionals by sharing my knowledge with them in this important panel discussion," said D'Ambrogio who started his career in the relocation business by building a network of rental agents for relocation companies to use in the Chicago market. After moving to a home-finding and consulting firm, he counseled domestic and international corporate clients moving to the area. He moved up in the firm and used his influence to develop relocation programs for that company.
Boldly moving his company forward, D'Ambrogio designed the Relocation department of Rubloff Residential Properties to provide clients with a comprehensive list of relocation services. From agent selection and destination counseling, to corporate housing, buy-outs, mortgages, household goods and more, Rubloff Relocation helps clients moving to Chicago, from Chicago, or even within the area.
Yalile Alpizar, the third industry expert, led hundreds of real estate experts in key discussions on the importance of networking in the luxury real estate industry. Representing Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate, Alpizar is the regional director for Central America and is their exclusive representative for Costa Rica. In 2005, she was appointed as a member of the Board of Regents, the world's elite network of luxury real estate experts. She is the group's exclusive representative in Costa Rica. She also leads an exclusive Referral Network of luxury real estate specialists in Costa Rica, representing some of the best luxury properties in the country.
"Yalile Alpizar is uniquely qualified to address the important topic of real estate networking," said John Brian Losh, the CEO and publisher of LuxuryRealEstate.com, and broker, chairman and CEO of Ewing and Clark, Inc. in Seattle. "Her experience and insights into the luxury real estate industry will undoubtedly benefit all of the experts we have coming to the Spring Retreat."
"In 1997, my company closed a multi-million-dollar deal, selling a 123-acre farm near the International Airport to INTEL Corporation to install their Latin American Regional operations," Alpizar said. "This single transaction changed the future of the whole country. It grabbed the eyes of foreign investors and helped them see Costa Rica with a different vision."
As the country began to flex its new economic muscles, Alpizar saw an opportunity to improve the country's luxury real estate industry and she has worked toward that goal from then to now.
LuxuryRealEstate.com is renowned for its four annual conferences, which act as magnets, attracting hundreds of brokers from around the world, says the company. They come to share important information and build connections with other real estate experts. The next Luxury Real Estate event will be in Vancouver, British Columbia from Sept. 30 to Oct. 2, 2007.
