RISMEDIA, Sept. 14, 2007-First American Title Insurance Company announced that Monica A. Wittrock has been named vice president, state manager for Oklahoma.
In her new role, Wittrock will oversee the company’s escrow and title operations in the state of Oklahoma. Wittrock will report to Chip Carmer, president of First American’s Southwest/Southcentral Title Division. Prior to this assignment, Wittrock was the Oklahoma state agency counsel for First American Title and chief operations officer for First American Title & Trust Company in Oklahoma City. She was previously in private practice in Oklahoma City, specializing in real estate, banking and commercial law.
Wittrock received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oklahoma State University in 1979 and a juris doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1982. She is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Oklahoma City Real Property Lawyers Group. She is a director for The First National Bank in Midwest City and chairs several banking compliance committees. Wittrock also is the author of the “Oklahoma Agents Manual” and “Oklahoma Escrow Manual” for First American Title Insurance Company, and is a frequent speaker for the Oklahoma Bar Association, Oklahoma Land Title Association, Oklahoma Real Estate Commission and other real estate and banking organizations.
