“Last year’s campaign sold nearly 20,000 raffle tickets,” said Lorraine Megenis, vice president of operations and director of William Raveis Charitable Fund, Inc. “Considering the growth of our company, the enthusiasm of our sales associates and employees to sell tickets, and increased awareness of the William Raveis Breast Cancer Research Fund, we are hoping to double our ticket sales in 2007.”
“Our goal is to find a cure for breast cancer and last year, an extraordinary thing occurred,” said Carolyn Deal, president and COO of the company. “When our top prize winner came to claim her jewelry, she told us she was in the midst of chemo therapy treatment. It was a poignant and meaningful moment for us.”
