MRIS, Oct. 15, 2007-With Secure Login project plans moving forward, it is time to share information on processes that will accompany this new initiative. Today, if you log into Matrix and then decide to access Keystone, you have to log in again-same thing for www.MRIS.com; each application requires a separate login. A process called Single Sign On will simplify the login procedure when Secure Login is implemented. Single Sign On will allow you to login once on the Secure Login screen with your User ID, a four digit PIN, and the SAFEMLS® token password. You will then be able to access MRIS.com, Matrix and Keystone from links on the top of the screen. This will allow you to move among the Matrix, Keystone and MRIS.com screens directly without the need to login again.
Timeouts for Matrix and MRIS.com will be set for 60 minutes of inactivity. The Keystone timeout will be set at 30 minutes of inactivity. If a timeout occurs, or you open a new browser, the Secure Login screen will appear and you will need to Secure Login again with your User ID, PIN and a new SAFEMLS® password.
If you multi-task (who doesn’t), you will have the ability to open multiple Matrix windows by pressing CTRL N or File/New, without going through the Secure Login screen again. (You can open currently open multiple windows, too, in case you didn’t realize it!)
