RISMEDIA, Nov. 19, 2007-Owners Nick D’Ambrosia, Ann D’Ambrosia and Dale Ross announce the opening of GMAC Real Estate/Real Estate Service Center, Largo, Maryland. Since entering the real estate industry in 1973, Nick D’Ambrosia has held many prominent positions and has been recognized for his commitment to the industry by his local and state association and the National Association of Realtors®. His professional titles include: Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Mid-Atlantic Region (CBRB Mid-Atlantic) Vice President of Property Management; CBRB Mid-Atlantic Vice President & Director of Operations; Coldwell Banker Stevens, Realtors® Senior Vice President/General Manager; Coldwell Banker Nyman Realty Branch Vice President as well as Electronic Realty Associates, Resident Broker of Record and a National Association of Realtors®, Board of Directors member. A Realtor® since 1986, Ann D’Ambrosia is an outstanding leader and brings a wealth of real estate knowledge and experience to the team. Her previous positions held included: Regional Vice President, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Mid-Atlantic and a Branch Vice President of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Mid-Atlantic. Prior to her accomplishments with Coldwell Banker, Ann successfully spent eight years as a community sales manager with one of the area’s largest new homes builder where she received numerous awards for sales and service. Ann has been a member of the Maryland Association of Realtors®, Realtors® Rookie Committee, serving as Chairperson. In addition she is the Vice-Chairperson for the Prince George’s Association of Realtors® Rookie Committee. Her community service involvement also includes Habitat for Humanity, Harvest for the Hungry, and the Neighborhood Watch Program.

As a real estate consultant and/or broker to many companies, Dale Ross has been involved with asset management, renovations, and sales disposition of commercial and residential ground, hotels, multi-family apartment buildings, shopping centers, and office buildings. His activities have also included negotiations with lenders, limited partners, developers, and investors; preparation of property budgets; contract negotiations; and working with franchise company’s tenants and other related parties in various capacities. As the owner’s representative for commercial properties totaling in excess of $300 million, he has been directly responsible for the hiring, training, and the supervision of thousands of employees in various capacities. He has more than thirty years experience as a broker in residential and commercial real estate and property management. He holds a real estate broker’s license in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Dale formed Pioneer Realty, Inc. in 1984 as a boutique real estate company, specializing in residential and commercial investments.

In 1994, he co-founded the Metropolitan Regional Information Systems, Inc. (MRIS) and served nine years as its President and Chief Executive Officer. MRIS employs more than 140 technical and customer service people, and serves more than 60,000 real estate practitioners with its multiple listing, Intranet, Internet and other real estate information technology needs in Maryland, Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and parts of West Virginia and Pennsylvania. In 1985, he served as President of the Montgomery Association of Realtors®. Four years later, he became the youngest member to be elected President of the Maryland Association of Realtors®, which serves more than 30,000 Realtor® members in the state of Maryland. In 2001, Dale was awarded The Life Achievement Award by the Maryland Association of Realtors®. Also in 2001, Ross became a charter member of the Board of Directors of the Partnership for Housing Foundation, Inc. a 501 © (3) non-profit organization funded with seed money from the Maryland Association of Realtors®. He became President of the Foundation in 2004 and remains President today.

Dale is serving his sixteenth year as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Realtors®, (NAR). With more than 1.3 million members, NAR is the largest trade association in the Country. He served three consecutive terms as NAR’s chairman of the Building Advisory Committee, which operates and manages NAR’s multi-million dollar real estate portfolio. In addition, he is serving his ninth year on MAR’s Finance Committee. Dale also served as a Board of Directors member of the REALTORS® Information Network, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NAR, which developed, one of the most active Web sites in the Country. He is a member of the NAR President’s Circle and a member of NAR’s RPAC Hall of Fame.
