RISMEDIA, April 3, 2008-Intero Real Estate Services announced a strategic partnership with Terabitz in which every current and future Intero office will utilize Terabitz’ website solution. This partnership applies to Intero company-owned and franchise offices in seven states today (Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Nevada and Texas) and will be expanded to include offices in nearly 30 additional states over the next two years as the company continues to expand the Intero footprint.
The two companies unveiled the first Terabitz-powered website this week, which showcases all properties from the five major Multiple Listing Services (MLS) of Northern California. This website provides Intero customers with a world-class technology platform that includes school data, market data, neighborhood information, integrates MLS listing data, and provides instant access to Intero agents via text messaging and live chat.
“As one of the fastest growing real estate brokerages in the country, we needed a website platform that was better than anything else in the market in terms of listings, local information, lead management, and usability,” said Gino Blefari, founder, president and CEO of Intero Real Estate Services. “Terabitz is the only platform powerful enough to meet those requirements and also scale with us as we continue our aggressive outreach in the U.S. and into international markets.”
“By joining forces with Intero, Terabitz will be able to quickly realize its dream of helping brokers nationwide regain their local real-estate business from the large national real estate sites,” said Ashfaq Munshi, CEO of Terabitz. “We believe that no entity should intervene in the conversation between the real estate brokerage and the consumer – and we are pleased to give Intero the tools, content and features to ensure they capture the customer.”
According to the company, the Intero website is the first broker site to incorporate Terabitz’ new lead management software. This lead management system, says the company, is designed to create and then help convert each and every lead into a real business opportunity. Consumers will have instant access to Intero agents via text messaging and live chat. The system is also designed so that Intero can easily view each lead to check on the status and ensure that each lead was followed through to completion.
In addition, the Terabitz website platform utilizes state-of-art technology from Tele Atlas that will enable Intero customers to query places of interest (such as local coffee shops or schools) and then map that data to see how those establishments are located in relation to a certain property.
Brokers such as Intero have faced fierce competition from technology-rich and consumer-friendly national websites who have tried to replace the relationship between the consumer and local broker. Unbeknownst to these customers, however, these flashy sites may look good but they have significantly outdated property inventories. Only the local broker has access to the local MLS, which makes the local broker sites such as Intero Real Estate the only accurate holder of local property inventories.
