RISMEDIA, April 30, 2008-Obeo, a provider of full-service residential real estate online marketing products in North America, announced Melynda Geronimo as its new sales coordinator.
This comes as a promotion for Geronimo and a move within the company. In her role as sales coordinator, she helps to launch and train new Obeo consultants, maintain current consultants and assist in growing the sales team. In the newly created position, Geronimo will assist Alan Earl, Obeo’s senior vice president of sales and marketing, by helping facilitate communication and the execution of tasks needed to assure a complication-free relationship between Obeo’s sales consultants and its corporate team.
Previously, Geronimo worked at Obeo as the executive assistant to the company’s president, Glade Jones.
Prior to joining Obeo, Geronimo spent three years as the shipping specialist for the Corporation of the Presiding Bishop through the Mormon Church. There she worked in correlation with Catholic Relief Services, the American Red Cross and various other non-profit organizations coordinating container shipments of food, clothing, medical supplies and hygiene kits to many third world countries.
Originally from Salt Lake City, Geronimo, 29, graduated from Westminster College in 2003 with a bachelor of arts degree in international business.
Geronimo resides in Salt Lake City with her husband, Marco, and has two sons; Gabriel, 4; and Isaac, 2. She also enjoys reading Jane Austen books, biking with her sons and gardening. As a volunteer in the Master Gardener Program through Utah State University, Geronimo uses her green thumb to help educate the community about conserving water, pest management and effective gardening.
