RISMEDIA, June 13, 2008-Whether for business or leisure, when you find a service provider you really like-and one that provides just the service you need-you stick with it, right? That’s the case for Hunt Real Estate ERA, which found The Warranty Group some eight years ago through its relationship with ERA Franchise Systems.

The Warranty Group is one of the largest providers of home protection plans, selling and supporting hundreds of thousands of policies annually, underwritten by Virginia Surety Company, Inc., rated A- (Excellent) by AM Best.

“In our minds, a few things separate The Warranty Group from its competitors-the company’s sales and administration process and its efficiency,” says Lou Izzo, president of residential brokerage, Hunt Real Estate ERA. “The sales and administration process with The Warranty Group is absolutely simple for us and very easy to implement. On top of that, the speed with which they address and process claims is incredible.”

Izzo’s company uses The Warranty Group’s complete line of residential warranty products for single-family and multiple dwelling residences, and also its training systems and collateral materials throughout the company. “The Warranty Group’s standard product is very solid and meets the needs of most of our client groups,” Izzo explains. “However, we have utilized the appliance-only warranty package with some effectiveness as well.”

The Warranty Group specializes in underwriting, administration and marketing of warranty and service contracts for manufacturers, retailers and distributors of consumer electronics, appliances, homes, autos as well as credit card enhancements and travel and leisure programs through a global organization providing innovative business solutions.

But, according to Izzo, it’s not what he thinks that’s important-it’s the opinion of his agents. That’s what makes the difference. “We prefer their warranty product for not only the reasons stated above,” he explains, “but because our agents, clients and staff have all responded positively for years to both the warranty product and the service behind it.”

For Izzo and the rest of the Hunt team, it’s about providing the highest quality homeownership services in any marketplace they serve-which now spans from upstate New York to Florida to Arizona.

Categorically, says Izzo, the feedback has been positive from our agents and our customers.

“I am always amazed at the number of claims that are submitted and reimbursed, and I know that each and every one is viewed by our clients as a benefit in their relationship with Hunt ERA,” explains Izzo.

Izzo says he doesn’t often hear complaints-except from customers who don’t hold a home warranty.
