RISMEDIA, August 12, 2008-As a new real estate agent, Jackie Black of Texas Best Properties, worked countless hours to get her name and business out into the community-and still does to this day. What’s more, today’s featured Realtor on the Rise, feels that in order to be a successful Realtor, agents must carry out their company message to their clients-no matter the circumstance.

Roanoke, TexasIn real estate since: 2004
As a new agent: “I found FSBOs, handed out cards, brochures, etc. and introduced myself. I joined networking groups, chambers of commerce and other organizations that I thought I could use as a conduit for getting my message out.”
Black is serious about carrying out her company’s message. “Our message of ‘we will do whatever it takes’ was recently carried out, in that we closed my client’s buyer in the local jail. He had been detained on the way to closing for outstanding traffic tickets and since it was a Friday night, there was little chance of getting closed and everyone moved over the weekend.”
Each day RISMedia will introduce you to one of our 50 Realtors on the Rise for 2008, chosen by the editors of Real Estate magazine and selected from hundreds of entries. We congratulate this year’s winners for stepping out of the box, bringing a new outlook and charging ahead through the changed real estate space.
