RISMEDIA, Oct. 23, 2008-With today’s shifting housing market and uncertain economy, it’s more important than ever for Realtors® to blaze new trails, expand their skills and knowledge base, and introduce new practices to keep their business headed straight toward success.

That’s why you should mark your calendar for the 2008 Realtors® Conference & Expo, held in Orlando, Florida, November 7-10, where you can meet your fellow brokers from across the country, get advice directly from today’s leaders and experts, and share innovative ideas. You’re guaranteed to discover a multitude of opportunities, ideas and resources to help you chart a course for success.

Meet Us at the Crossroads

While at the 2008 Realtors Conference & Expo, your professional roadmap should include NAR’s Crossroads Booth #3941, a vital hub of information and activity. No matter what point you’ve reached in your career or where you want to go, NAR’s Crossroads Booth is an essential oasis along your journey. “All roads lead to the NAR booth,” where brokers, agents and support staff can:

-Shift gears with new ideas and advice from industry experts. Free, informative, 20-minute presentations are offered in NAR’s Drive-in Theater, including “It Is Easy Being Green,” previewing NAR’s new Green Designation course, and “Take Your Listings from For Sale to Sold with the All-New®.” A complete theater schedule is available onsite in the Visitor’s Go Guide.

-Get directions from Realtor Benefits® Publications. Browse a wide selection and enjoy special “buy two, get one free” savings on brand-new, sales-boosting consumer resources, including the best-selling It Is a Great Time to Buy and the new Getting It Sold.

-NAR’s Government Affairs team is now housed in the NAR booth. Stop by to learn about programs and services available to you, how you can increase your Association’s advocacy and member profitability, and learn about two exciting new initiatives: the broker involvement and electoral services program.

-Accelerate your business with the Realtor Benefits Program. Learn about offers and savings, created just for you, on the products and services you need.

-Road-test these valuable NAR resources: Information Central, Realtor Commercial Alliance, the NAR Leadership Academy, and Realtor University. Staff will be on hand to offer assistance and information.

-Load up on Realtor cargo at the Realtor Team Store, which offers a variety of clothing, pins and other merchandise, along with a show-only garment spectacular!

-Cross paths with a celebrity-check conference materials to find out who will be signing autographs in the Crossroads booth!

-Pull over for Friday’s opening night celebration and the unveiling of NAR-TV. Join us at the party on Friday, November 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. to record your welcome message, and you could end up on NAR-TV!

When you’re mapping your route to success, be sure to include a stop at the Crossroads-NAR’s Crossroads Booth #3941 where possibilities intersect with success. I hope to meet you there!

I Want My NAR-TV!

The 2008 Realtor Conference & Expo will make NAR history; this will debut NAR-TV, our own onsite convention TV channel for Realtor. NAR-TV will run on the in-room TVs of all three conference headquarters hotels (the Rosen Centre, the Rosen Plaza and the Peabody), in NAR’s Crossroads Booth #3941, and in the Hall E lobby (next to registration in the Orange County Convention Center).

NAR-TV programming will run each day of the conference. Be sure to tune in to best plan your time, gain insight into some of your key membership benefits and hear from your 2008-2009 elected leadership. You may even see your fellow Realtor on the air!
