RISMEDIA, Nov. 10, 2008-Zillow.com and Weichert Realtors, which has more than 40,000 listings nationwide, have announced a partnership that enables Weichert to automatically feed all of their listings to Zillow.com on a regular basis.
Weichert joins the hundreds of partners participating in the Zillow Listings Feed program, which launched in November 2007 and has grown to more than 3.2 million listings today.
According to the companies, each listing Weichert feeds to Zillow includes a description of the property with multiple photos and contact information for the listing agent, including links back to the Weichert Web site where Zillow users can find more information and connect with a Weichert sales associate to guide them through the home buying and selling process.
“We’re excited to have a company of Weichert’s size and stature join our listings feed program,” said Spencer Rascoff, Zillow’s chief operating officer. “Weichert has more than 500 company-owned and franchised sales offices in key markets throughout the U.S. We believe this partnership will be extremely beneficial to our users nationwide.”
Michael Montsko, president of Weichert Lead Network adds, “We constantly look for ways to maximize marketing exposure for our associates and listings. The Zillow Listings Feed program offers a tremendous marketing opportunity for our agents and their sellers. By syndicating our listings to Zillow, we are able to expose our clients to Zillow’s 5.5 million visitor’s each month.”
The Zillow Listings Feed program allows participating listings providers to automatically gain free marketing exposure for their listings on one of the most-visited real estate sites in the country, while providing Zillow’s users with a more robust search experience. Real estate brokerages post for-sale listings directly to the site in a bulk feed, giving the homes a virtual for-sale sign at no cost.
For enhanced exposure, individual agents can create a free profile page with photos, contact information and more details about themselves, linked directly from each listing.
