RISMEDIA, Nov. 12, 2008-Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) appointed Lou Gonzalez, Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, Inc.’s senior vice president – regional operations, as a national director during the association’s third-annual Convention & Gala in Los Angeles.
As a national director, Gonzalez will provide AREAA with leadership and guidance on strategies, issues and legislation impacting the Asian Pacific American real estate market. He will help draft policy positions at the national level, and will strive to increase business opportunities for real estate and mortgage professionals who serve the growing Asian-American community.
“I am honored to serve AREAA as a national director,” said Gonzalez, who joined Prudential Real Estate, a Prudential Financial, Inc. company, in August 2007. “Since its inception in 2003, the association has done a wonderful job opening the doors of real estate and homeownership to the Asian-American community.”
At Prudential Real Estate, Gonzalez is responsible for servicing all franchisees in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. He also oversees the company’s commercial real estate operations. He has a quarter-century of industry experience, including real estate sales and service, franchise sales, sales management and territory development in domestic and international markets.
