MRIS, February 16, 2009-We are thrilled to announce that MRIS President and CEO, David Charron, has been named to the Inman News Top 100 Most Influential Leaders in Real Estate: 2008 report. The list reflects the industry’s best and brightest and also includes those individuals from outside of the real estate industry whose actions influence the business of buying and selling real estate. The people on the list embody leadership, innovation, ingenuity, power and persistence.
Inman News recognizes Charron in the Trade Association and Government Agencies category, which honors key players in the legislative, regulatory and legal arena of the real estate industry including MLS’s which are on the front lines of change in the real estate industry.
Charron earned the honor along with some of the most well-known names in the finance and real estate industry such as Federal Reserve Board Chairman Ben Bernanke, Secretary of the Treasury Henry M. “Hank” Paulson Jr., and Sheila Bair, the Chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
MRIS is recognized in the list as one of the largest multiple listing service organizations in the country with more than 50,000 members in Maryland, Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia and parts of West Virginia and southern Pennsylvania. David joined MRIS in January 2001 with an extensive background in real estate, information systems and Internet business solutions.
