RISMEDIA, May 20, 2009-Worldwide ERC®, the association for workforce mobility, has inducted Pam O’Connor, SCRP, president and CEO of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World®, into the association’s distinguished Hall of Leaders. The announcement was made during the association’s National Relocation Conference.
There are fewer than 40 individuals who have received this honor among Worldwide ERC’s 12,000 members.
The Worldwide ERC Service Recognition Awards Program, through which this honor was delivered, was established in 1989 to recognize member contributions, with three levels of service awards based on points earned through service to ERC, including the Meritorious Service Award and the Distinguished Service Award. Induction into the Worldwide ERC Hall of Leaders is attained by earning four Worldwide ERC® Distinguished Service Awards.
When announcing O’Connor’s Hall of Leaders induction, 2009 Worldwide ERC® Chairman Joe Benevides remarked on her ability to be a “key voice for the real estate segment of Worldwide ERC, advocating and educating on critical issues such as after-the-fact referral fees; her leadership within association groups that include the Worldwide ERC® Foundation’s Board of Trustees and her current position on the Worldwide ERC® Board of Directors; and the healthy influence that she brings to the workforce mobility industry on issues of partnership, vision, respect, and cooperation.”
