RISMEDIA, June 24, 2009-Prudential Real Estate and Relocation Services, Inc. was named Relocation Provider of the Year at the annual Re:locate Awards, which honor companies and individuals involved in relocation.

Stephen Fairn, senior vice president of International Operations, Prudential Real Estate and Relocation Services, a Prudential Financial, Inc. business, accepted the award at a recent reception and gala dinner held at the Institute of Directors, in London where guests from across the relocation spectrum celebrated success, good practice and innovation in this increasingly high-profile field.

“Being honored as the top relocation provider holds special significance for our business, especially in the presence of some of our long standing clients, who lent their support to us on the awards night,” said Fairn. “As the dynamics of international business is changing, the evolution of human resource outsourcing has changed the way companies do business and providers offer services. We are constantly pushing ourselves to offer the most innovative tools and provide our clients with the right resources and advice.”

Prudential Real Estate and Relocation Services president Earl Lee added, “I applaud the accomplishments of our team and their commitment to advancing relocation industry standards and practices. In leading our international operations, Stephen has demonstrated enormous leadership in raising the bar in the real estate and relocation industry.”

Launched in 2007 by Re:locate, the magazine for Human Resource professionals and relocation specialists, this is the only awards scheme in the UK to celebrate excellence in this field. On the judging panel were distinguished figures from business, academia and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. The Summer issue of Re:locate, to be published this month, will feature full details of the winners, with case studies.

Re:locate, one of the UK’s leading magazine for relocation specialists and Human Resource professionals, covers all aspects of domestic and international relocation, from policy, financial, property and legal matters to international assignments, recruitment and immigration, as well as the full raft of employee support issues, such as property, education, intercultural training and career options for partners.
