RISMEDIA, December 15, 2009—With the real estate market poised for a positive turn in 2010, a recent study commissioned by the Guardian Life Small Business Research Institute reveals 94% of real estate small business owners are optimistic that their companies will emerge from the recession intact and well positioned for growth over the next two years.
Specifically, 60% of real estate small business owners plan to maintain business as usual and 34% are confidently looking forward to expanding their businesses over the next 12 to 24 months.

-The study was fielded in May 2009 and polled more than 1,100 respondents representing 10 small business industry sectors, four geographic regions, four key states (California, Texas, New York and Florida) and two major DMA’s (New York and Los Angeles).
-In order to participate in the study, the owner must have been operating their business for at least three years and have annual revenues over $500,000.
