RISMEDIA, January 22, 2010—Instanet Solutions announced that its DocBox2Go is now in production in various markets and will be rolled out to all existing clients with DocBox and TransactionDesk by the end of the second quarter of this year. DocBox2Go is a new mobile companion service to its DocBox and TransactionDesk services that allows users to access their listings, sale and lease files using the mobile browser on their Smartphones. Additionally, the application provides access to other non-transactional files stored in a user’s DocBox and TransactionDesk.
Instanet Solutions has also released other ‘companion’ tools, for DocBox, TransactionDesk and InstanetFax, that can all be accessed without having to use a browser or navigate to the DocBox and TransactionDesk online services. This saves users a significant amount of time when managing and distributing documents.
The DocBox Print Driver by Instanet Solutions allows users to upload documents into DocBox and TransactionDesk by simply ‘printing’ them into the system. They can also simultaneously e-mail and fax the documents while uploading- again saving valuable time.
An offline fax cover sheet for InstanetFax is now available. Users can fax paper documents to any email address using a PDF cover sheet they can save to their desktop and use over and over. They do not need to have an internet connection to access the coversheet.
Vanity Fax Numbers are personal local or toll free fax numbers that work like other Internet fax services such as eFax®, but with some distinct advantages. One, the cost is much lower, starting at $49/year for a local fax number. Two, copies of inbound faxes are sent to the DocBox inbox as well as emailed to the users email address. Copies of the faxes are also available via DocBox2Go creating a seamless system between the document management, faxing and mobile aspects of DocBox and TransactionDesk. With the exception of the Vanity Fax numbers, all of the services are available to existing DocBox and TransactionDesk subscribers at no additional charge.
“We are getting overwhelmingly positive feedback on the new features,” says Joe Kazzoun, vice president of business and product development of Instanet Solutions. “Our users love the idea of being able to leverage the functionality from their mobile devices and without having to browse into the services when they want to complete a quick task.”
