RISMEDIA, February 19, 2010—Leading Real Estate Companies of the World (LeadingRE) and RESPRO (Real Estate Services Providers Council) will join forces on March 9 with a general session that doubles as the RESPRO conference closing session and LeadingRE’s opening session at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas.
David Stevens, Assistant HUD Secretary and FHA Commissioner, will update the audience of real estate and affiliated business executives on the housing regulatory landscape, and Ron Peltier, Chairman and CEO of HomeServices of America, Berkshire Hathaway affiliate, second largest real estate company in the country and board member of both RESPRO and LeadingRE, will describe the road to recovery for the real estate market. Guy Kawasaki of Apple Computer fame and founder of Garage Technology Ventures, will discuss the art of innovation to maximize opportunity while others retract in this type of environment.
LeadingRE has exceeded its original room block at the Wynn’s Encore by over 25% percent due to a packed agenda, which encompasses not only its annual conference March 9-11, but also pre-conference events: the Luxury Portfolio Top Sales Associate Summit, MarTech for marketing and technology professionals, and the Sales Managers Leadership Symposium.
A talented speaker line-up is planned, which includes top member presenters like Lennox Scott, John L. Scott Real Estate; Rob Sibcy, Sibcy Cline Realtors; Arthur Sterbcow, Latter and Blum; Pat Riley, Allen Tate Company; and Michael Saunders, Michael Saunders & Company.
Numerous guest speakers include keynoter Robyn Benincasa of World Class Teams and Mike Staver, The Staver Group; Matthew Ferrara, Matthew Ferrara & Company; Steve Harney, Steve Harney, Inc.; Marc Davison, 1000WattConsulting; Marty Frame, RPR; Adam Singer, TopRank Online Marketing; and Scott Murphy, Sears Holding Corporation. Representatives from Zillow, Trulia, HGTV’s FrontDoor.com and Roost are also participating in the program.
“There is tremendous energy and excitement in our network right now,” says LeadingRE President/CEO Pam O’Connor. “While we all recognize that the market still faces significant challenges, our members are feeling a strong need to move forward, and our excellent conference attendance reflects their commitment to making things happen in 2010. Teaming up with RESPRO, along with our multi-dimensional conference content for diverse membership audiences, speaks to the broad brokerage services scope of today’s Leading Real Estate Companies of the World organization.”
