RISMEDIA, February 23, 2010—More than 8,000 real estate agents will gather in New Orleans starting Saturday, February 20 through February 24 to learn business-accelerating tactics at Keller Williams Realty’s annual convention, Family Reunion. The event will offer a packed schedule of real estate market-focused lineup featuring over 100 breakout training sessions. Topics include real estate trends such as REOs and short sales, ins and outs of selling commercial or luxury properties, as well as social media training and the best ways to use this new technology and countless networking opportunities.

“Family Reunion will be the largest private real estate franchise conference in our industry this year! We are blown away by the commitment to education that our agents are showing in this real estate market, and we are so proud that they have chosen to attend our event in such an amazing city, New Orleans,” said Mark Willis, CEO of Keller Williams Realty, Inc. “We are lucky to have offices in New Orleans, and this event will give us all the opportunity to be a part of the renaissance that the city is experiencing. We can’t wait for our people to see the incredible lineup that Family Reunion has in store for them and all the city has to offer.”

According to Keller Williams, Family Reunion, company leadership will be on hand to give agents valuable insight into the market, as Vice Chairman Mo Anderson and CEO Mark Willis give the State of the Company address, Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board Gary Keller addresses the current real estate market in his annual Vision Speech. In addition, President and COO Mary Tennant will be at Family Reunion to meet with the International Agent Leadership Council (IALC) where Keller Williams Realty associates will vote on important policies affecting the company.

“We are honored to host Keller Williams Realty for their 2010 Family Reunion, and we appreciate their commitment to the city of New Orleans,” said Stephen Perry, president and CEO of the New Orleans CVB. “There is an unprecedented atmosphere of excitement and celebration in the city of New Orleans right now, and we welcome all Keller Williams Realty Family Reunion attendees with confidence that they will enjoy the unique architecture, cuisine and overall ambiance of America’s most authentic city.”

This year’s Family Reunion keynote speaker is Kevin Carroll, author of Rules of the Red Rubber Ball. Family Reunion will conclude with Mo Anderson’s Eleventh Annual Inspirational Brunch. Led by Anderson, who is largely credited for building the Keller Williams Realty culture, the brunch program honors ”Unyielding Effort” within the Keller Williams Realty family.
