RISMEDIA, April 30, 2010—Diane Turton, broker/owner of Diane Turton, Realtors hosted Scott Chrisner and a team of engineers and technicians from his company, The Chrisner Group, at her home on April 1st for a “ReGreen” Home Assessment.
Green remodeling is the design and construction of projects that reduce the environmental impacts of remodeling. ReGreen guidelines can be found online at www.regreenprogram.org.
The assessment begins when clients are interviewed through a series of 17 questions that range from: “What do the owners like about the house?” to “Do their utility bills seem inappropriately high?”
Managers and agents from the DTRE Team toured the house with The Chrisner Group representatives to experience firsthand the various elements of the Building Assessment. A homes performance is measured by evaluating the building envelope and Mechanical Systems performance.
“I feel it is incumbent upon our generation to lead in energy conservation and to understand the vast resources available to help homeowners become environmentally responsible. I was fortunate to meet Scott Chrisner through our membership in the US Green Building Council, NJ Chapter, of which Scott is a founder,” said Turton.
