Fries, who has extensive experience at several major insurance firms, will be responsible for driving sales growth of NRT’s insurance offerings in existing and prospective markets as well as identifying potential new products and programs.

Most recently, Fries served as vice president of business development and strategic alliances with Safeguard Guaranty Corporation, where he was responsible for creating and implementing business and technology strategies to position a start-up insurance company. Prior to that, Fries held senior-level positions with several market leaders including MassMutual and The Hartford, where he successfully leveraged innovative e-commerce and technology tools to enhance both business-to-business and business-to-consumer interface platforms. He began his career with Aetna and also spent seven years running his own insurance agency in Tolland, Conn. Fries received his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Hartford.
